Just thinking out loud here... but let's say that we could impeach Bush. Wouldn't that just mean that Cheney or Hastert or Rice would take step forward and take over? Is that really any different than Bush, 'cause he can't be the brains behind that group, right? Wouldn't it be better if we could somehow recall Bush and have a revote of some kind? Not a full blown election, mind you. What if a recall election meant that Bush would be thrown out and we would choose between two tickets made up of the party leader in the Senate and the House for each party for the remainder of the current president's term. That would mean Frist/Hastert versus Reid/Pelosi. Couldn't we make something like that work?
